TEEN SUICIDE PREVENTION CONTEST RULES
As a continuation of our focus on Teen Suicide Prevention we are sponsoring a contest for all high school students to write an answer to the following question and illustrate their work. The winning contestant will have his/her work put on our next t-shirt as well as receive a $100 prize and 10 shirts. Teens have told us that broken hearts are one of the biggest concerns they face in terms of depression, sadness and suicidal thoughts. Sponsors of the project are invited to call 254.965.9691 to have their names placed on the back of the shirt. Contest rules: 1. All entries should answer the question: "What becomes of the broken hearted? How I survived a broken heart..." and include a drawing. All entries must be completed and submitted by local high school students. 2. No entries will be accepted by anyone related to an employee of The Helping Place. 3. The winning entry will be selected by the Staff at The Helping Place. 4. The winning entry will be awarded a $100 prize and 10 free shirts and all the bragging rights. 5. All entries will become the property of The Helping Place and may be used on its website. 6. Entries must be received by Feb. 14. 7. Entries may be submitted at The Helping Place, 154 E. Washington St. Stephenville, TX or at the office of your high school and we will pick them up. 8. Entries should be on an un-ruled piece of 8 x 11 inch paper. 9. All entries must be completed and submitted by local high school students. 10. Students may work together on this project and the prize will be split among them.
